Jefferson Parish Department of Parks & Recreation, often referred to as 'JPRD', offers a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional recreational activities for adults, teens and children. This includes athletic programs, senior citizen activities and clubs, programs for the disabled and economically disadvantaged, camps and a wide variety of classes and special events. In addition, JPRD offers a number of options for rentals of rooms, fields, gyms, etc. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with a class, activity, or facility, please tell us so that we can respond to your concerns. Activity Guides will be available for online downloading by clicking on the
appropriate link located in the left column of this page in mid August. Copies
can be obtained from any local playground or library in late August or e-mail
your request to

and we will be
glad to e-mail you a copy.
