Citizens
Advisory Committee (CAC)
Established by Article
25, Section 25-450, of the Code of Ordinances, the Citizens Advisory
Committee fulfills Objective 9.2 of the Comprehensive Plan to establish
a broad-based citizen committee that meets regularly to review and
recommend major amendments to the Comprehensive Plan. The twenty-two
member committee is appointed by the Jefferson Parish Council and
Parish President. Members serve one or two year terms which are
renewable. Pursuant to the Code of Ordinances, members shall be
residents or property owners of Jefferson Parish, and be either a civic
or business representative.
