AERIAL SPRAYING FOR MOSQUITOES
Due to nuisance mosquito activity, aerial spraying is scheduled to take place in Jefferson Parish on the evening of Wednesday, July 9, 2008 over the Avondale, Bridge City and Westwego areas.
Low-level aerial spraying will take place on the West Bank of Jefferson Parish from 8:15 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. The boundaries to be sprayed are as follows:-
Spraying will take place in the area bounded by the Mississippi River on the north

U.S. Highway 90 on the south

Louisiana Avenue on the east
-
The St. Charles and Jefferson Parish line on the west
If weather conditions on the evening of July 9, 2008 force the cancellation of the scheduled flight, aerial spraying will take place on the first subsequent evening on which weather conditions permit. For more information, contact Steve Pavlovich with Mosquito Control, Inc. at 366-0084.
