JEFFERSON PARISH, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE LOUISIANA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, TO HOST FLU AND COVID-19 VACCINE DRIVE
Jefferson Parish, in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health, will be hosting a Flu and COVID-19 vaccine drive on Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Delta Playground (8301 W. Metairie Ave., Metairie, LA 70003).
ALARIO CENTER COVID-19 TESTING & VACCINE SITE IN JEFFERSON PARISH TO CLOSE ON FRIDAY, MAY 27
The Alario Center COVID-19 testing and vaccine site, operated by the Louisiana National Guard and Quest Diagnostics, will close on Friday, May 27, 2022 at 4 p.m.
ALARIO CENTER COVID-19 TESTING/VACCINATION SITE WILL MOVE TO HAROLD MCDONALD SR. PARK DUE TO ZURICH CLASSIC
The Alario Center COVID-19 testing/vaccination site will be moved to the Harold McDonald Sr. Park (900 Drake Ave., Westwego, LA 70094) on Wednesday, Apr. 20, 2022 due to the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
OCHSNER TO OFFER COVID-19 RAPID TESTING AT SHRINE ON AIRLINE
Ochsner Health and Jefferson Parish will begin offering drive-thru rapid COVID-19 testing on Wednesday, January 5 at the Shrine on Airline in Metairie (6000 Airline Drive), to help meet the community’s unprecedented demand for COVID-19 tests fueled by the Omicron variant.

Drive-thru testing at Johnny Bright Playground (3401 Cleary Ave. Metairie 70002) will now reopen for all ages on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., or while supplies last.

Due to the current high demand, Jefferson Parish will continue testing at Johnny Bright Playground and the Alario Center this week and will not close for the holiday as previously planned.
JEFFERSON PARISH OPENS ADDITIONAL COVID-19 TESTING SITE
Starting Tuesday, December 28, 2021, drive-thru COVID testing will be available for all ages at Johnny Bright Playground (3401 Cleary Ave. Metairie 70002) and Bonnabel Boat Launch (1599 Bonnabel Blvd., Metairie 70005).
