Jefferson Parish, in collaboration with the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), will be administering the influenza (flu) vaccine and COVID-19 vaccines and boosters on Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Johnny Jacobs Playground (5851 5th Ave., Marrero, LA 70072).

FREE COVID-19 TESTING AND VACCINES RESUME AT ALARIO CENTER FRIDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2021
Starting Friday, October 1, 2021, free drive-thru COVID-19 testing and walk-up COVID-19 vaccines (Pfizer and J&J) will resume at the Alario Center (2000 Segnette Blvd, Westwego, LA 70094).
STATEWIDE INDOOR MASK MANDATE EXTENDED THROUGH OCTOBER 27, 2021
Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has extended the statewide mask mandate through October 27, 2021 to further slow the spread of COVID-19 following the state’s worst surge of the pandemic.
FREE DAILY COVID-19 TESTING AVAILABLE AT DELTA PLAYGROUND & BONNABEL BOAT LAUNCH
Starting Wednesday, August 25, 2021, free drive-thru COVID-19 testing will be available at Delta Playground (8301 W. Metairie Ave., Metairie, LA 70003) and Bonnabel Boat Launch (1599 Bonnabel Blvd. Metairie, LA 70005).

Starting on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, free drive through COVID-19 testing will be available at Johnny Bright Playground (3401 Cleary Ave. Metairie, LA 70002) operated by Accu Reference Lab.

MASKS REQUIRED TO ENTER JEFFERSON PARISH GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS
Effective Thursday, July 29, 2021, face coverings will be required to enter and in common spaces of all Jefferson Parish Government Buildings. This includes both vaccinated and unvaccinated members of the public and all Jefferson Parish employees.
