JEFFERSON PARISH EXTENDS DEADLINE FOR MEAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR SENIORS

Jefferson Parish will provide free meals to seniors and those most vulnerable to COVID-19 through a partnership with the federal government.

The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) in collaboration with Jefferson Parish and Passport Health, will be administering the COVID-19 Moderna vaccine on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021 at the Alario Center (2000 Segnette Blvd, Westwego, LA 70094) by appointment only.

FREE COVID-19 TESTING IN JEFFERSON PARISH (FEB. 22 – FEB. 25)

The Alario Center COVID-19 drive-thru test site is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Jefferson Parish has launched a COVID-19 Vaccination Survey in order to gauge the current interest of residents and help identify areas of need in Jefferson Parish.

The Alario Center COVID-19 drive-thru testing site is open Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
