Parc Des Familles is already an excellent place for family and friends to relax and have fun! We’ve added a Splash Park and Dog Park as new features to this Jefferson Parish destination.  Observe wildlife and nature on the 2,000-foot elevated boardwalk that winds through a beautiful cypress swamp. Dogs are welcome on the boardwalk.

Come enjoy our premier disc golf course designed by John Houck created in a hardwood cypress swamp and is really one of a kind. The fairways are carved through a forested area, with the throwing lanes lined by beautiful cypress trees. The park invested significant money to build up the fairways and add drainage to keep the course from flooding.

The Splash Park offers a wide variety of spray effects with 14 water features, including two Gravity Shooters, a Fill N’ Spill, a Water Whoopee, and a host of other water activities that can twist and turn, promoting imagination and coolness.

A wrought iron fence surrounds the Splash Park for user safety. Benches and shade cover parents so that they may watch the excitement on their children’s faces as they enjoy this space.

A wrought iron fence surrounds the Dog Park with a section for small dogs under 22lbs to play and a section for large dogs over 22lbs to run.

There is also handicap assessable parking.
