JEFFERSON PARISH ANNOUNCES CARES ACT ASSISTANCE FOR
NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000,000
JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development (JPDCD) is pleased to announce the extension of its 2020 Application Period for non-profit organizations for HESG-CV funding.
HESG-CV funds the following eligible components: Street Outreach, Emergency Shelter, Rapid Re-Housing, Homelessness Prevention, and Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). In addition, this funding is provided to prevent, prepare for and respond to coronavirus among individuals and families who are facing homelessness and related negative economic impacts created by the coronavirus. No match funding is required for these HESG-CV allocations. With this extension, JPDCD is specifically seeking partners to administer rental assistance and associated case management services.
