JEFFERSON PARISH COUNCIL TO HOLD PUBLIC INPUT MEETINGS
TO DISCUSS PROPOSED REDISTRICTING MAPS

JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish Council will hold two public meetings to allow for input on proposed redistricting maps based on data collected during the 2020 Census. The first meeting will take place on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the second-floor council chambers of the General Government Building, 200 Derbigny Street, Gretna, 70053. The second meeting will take place on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the second-floor council chambers of the Joseph S. Yenni Building, 1221 Elmwood Park Boulevard, Jefferson, 70123.

Every ten years, parish government uses new census data to redraw district lines to reflect how local populations have changed. Click here to view the proposed redistricting maps.
