JEFFERSON PARISH TO REINSTITUTE SIGNAGE RESTRICTIONS
RELAXED DUE TO HURRICANE IDA, EFFECTIVE ON DEC. 6, 2021

JEFFERSON, LA – Effective Monday, December 6, 2021, the Jefferson Parish Department of Property Maintenance Zoning & Quality of Life (PMZ) will begin enforcing the ordinance relative to no placement of signage advertising on public rights of way. This restriction was relaxed to help businesses and residents in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida.

Those with signage on public rights of way must pick them up by December 6, 2021. Signage not picked up will be removed by PMZ. CLICK HERE for more information about sign regulations.
