LAFRENIERE DOG PARKS CLOSED FOR
RENOVATIONS STARTING MONDAY, APRIL 18

JEFFERSON, LA – The Lafreniere Dog Parks will be closed starting on Monday April 18, 2022 for drainage and lighting improvements. The Parks are scheduled to reopen within the month, weather permitting.

The drainage improvements will include new catch basins, piping and other enhancements to move water out of the Dog Parks after rain events. Additionally, the drainage at the large Dog Park wash station will also be addressed. The lighting improvements will include the addition of light poles to both Dog Parks, which will allow the parks to remain open for longer periods of time.
