NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS OF UNINCORPORATED
JEFFERSON PARISH AND THE TOWN OF JEAN LAFITTE:

THERE WILL BE NO GARBAGE COLLECTION ON NEW YEAR’S DAY;
CURBSIDE RECYCLING WILL TAKE PLACE AS SCHEDULED

JEFFERSON, LA – There will be no curbside garbage collection on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2021. There will be no make-up day for the missed holiday collection. If you are regularly scheduled to have garbage picked up on a Friday, your next collection day will be Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

Curbside recycling collection will take place per the regular collection schedule on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2021.

All four trash drop-off sites and the Jefferson Parish Landfill residential drop-site will be closed on New Year’s Day, and will re-open for business on Saturday, January 2, 2021.
