ROAD CLOSURE
KAWANEE AVENUE BETWEEN PAGE DRIVE AND HENICAN PLACE

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting today (Monday, August 8, 2022), both the east and westbound lanes of Kawanee Ave. between Page Drive and Henican Place will be closed. Eastbound motorists will detour by taking a right on Henican Place, a left on Meadowdale St. and a left on Page Drive to return to Kawanee Ave. Westbound motorists will detour by turning right on Page Drive, left on Ithaca St. and left on Henican Place to return to Kawanee Ave.

This closure is necessary for lift station repairs at a cost of $10,000. Work is scheduled to be completed by Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 5 p.m., weather permitting.
