ROAD CLOSURE
NORTHBOUND CAUSEWAY BOULEVARD
Between Airline Drive traffic circle and Roman Street

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022, the northbound lanes of Causeway Blvd., between Airline Dr. traffic circle and Roman St., will be closed on a continuous basis. Motorists traveling northbound on Causeway Blvd., will detour as follows: take the exit to Airline Dr. traffic circle, head west on Airline Dr., turn right onto Severn Ave., turn right onto W. Metairie Ave., back onto northbound Causeway Blvd.

This closure is necessary due to bridge rehabilitation, which includes the removal of temporary steel plates from the foot of the bridge and permanently repairing joints underneath the plates. This closure is part of a $12.51 million project. Work is scheduled to be completed by Monday, September 12, 2022 at 5:00 a.m., weather permitting.
