JEFFERSON, LA – Beginning today at 6:00 p.m., Jefferson Transit will suspend all services ahead of Hurricane Ida.

JEFFERSON, LA – Mayor of Jean Lafitte Tim Kerner, Jr. and Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng have issued a mandatory evacuation for the town of Jean Lafitte, Lower Lafitte, Crown Point and Barataria due to Hurricane Ida.

Curbside garbage and recycling collection is cancelled on Monday, August 30, 2021, due to the impending impact of Tropical Storm Ida.
