Road Closures
LANE CLOSURE: WEST METAIRIE AVENUE
Starting at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, the inner westbound lane of West Metairie Ave., between Phlox Ave. and Haring Rd., will be closed. Motorists will merge to the available lane for travel.
LANE CLOSURE: AMES BOULEVARD
Both southbound lanes of Ames Blvd., between the Westbank Expressway and 3rd Avenue, are indefinitely closed due to damage on the road caused by Deviney Construction boring new lines for AT&T.
ROAD CLOSURE: 17TH STREET BETWEEN SEVERN AVENUE AND CAUSEWAY BOULEVARD
Starting Tuesday, June 6, 2023, all four lanes of 17th Street between Severn Avenue and Causeway Boulevard will be closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
LANE CLOSURES: WEST ESPLANADE AVENUE
The following construction projects will begin on West Esplanade Avenue starting Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 9 a.m.
LANE CLOSURES: VETERANS BOULEVARD
Starting Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 7 a.m., the following construction projects will begin on Veterans Boulevard.
LANE CLOSURES: METAIRIE ROAD
Starting Monday, May 29, 2023 at 7 a.m., one eastbound and one westbound lane of Metairie Road between Beverly Garden Drive and Atherton Drive will be closed.
LANE CLOSURE: WALL BOULEVARD
Starting Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 7 a.m., the northbound left lane of Wall Boulevard between Iberia Street and Willowbrook Drive will be closed continuously.
ROAD CLOSURE: MANHATTAN BOULEVARD
The following road closures will take place on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 and Wednesday, May 24, 2023 as part of the $1.85 million project to widen Manhattan Boulevard.
LANE CLOSURE: CLEARVIEW PARKWAY
Starting Friday, May 19, 2023 at 9 p.m., the southbound left lane and the northbound left lane of Clearview Parkway between Argonne Street and West Napoleon Avenue will be closed continuously.
ROAD CLOSURE: RIVER ROAD BETWEEN PLANTATION DRIVE AND LAITRAM LANE
On Tuesday, May 16, 2023, one eastbound lane of River Road between Plantation Road and Laitram Lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
