LANE CLOSURES
LAPALCO BOULEVARD
Between Ames Boulevard and Barataria Boulevard

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting Monday, April 29, 2024 at 7 a.m., one lane of westbound Lapalco Boulevard between Barataria Boulevard and Ames Boulevard will be closed continuously. Once westbound work is complete, one lane of eastbound Lapalco Boulevard between Ames Boulevard and Barataria Boulevard will be closed to complete the project.

Only one lane will be closed during peak hours (7-9 a.m. and 4-6 p.m.), leaving two lanes available for traffic. A second lane of Lapalco Boulevard will be closed, as needed, to complete the work.

These closures are necessary to restore street panels at a cost of $800,000. Work is scheduled to be completed by 5 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024, weather permitting.
