The Jefferson Parish Parks & Recreation Department (JPRD) has issued its final report and action plan for reimagining recreation to better serve the residents of Jefferson Parish at six JPRD playgrounds, including Lemon, Avondale, Bright, Delta, Bridge City and Rosethorne.
LANE CLOSURE: EASTBOUND VETERANS BOULEVARD AT LAKE AVENUE
Starting Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 9 a.m., the left turn lane of eastbound Veterans Boulevard from Carrollton Avenue to Lake Avenue will be closed continuously.
EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE: WEST NAPOLEON AVENUE
The left lane of westbound West Napoleon Avenue between Transcontinental Drive and Kent Avenue will be closed from 7 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024 through 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
ROAD CLOSURE: BISSONET DRIVE BRIDGE AND WESTBOUND VETERANS BOULEVARD
Starting Monday, February 26, 2024 at 7 a.m., the Bissonet Drive Bridge at West Canal Avenue and westbound Veterans Boulevard will be closed continuously.
LANE CLOSURES: LAPALCO BOULEVARD
Starting Wednesday, February 21, 2024, some segments of Lapalco Boulevard between Fairfield Avenue and Marlene Drive will be closed.
