Change Your Clock. Check Your Alarms.

Many home fire deaths occur due to alarms that aren't working. Don't fall back on checking your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. You should test every alarm and detector monthly; change batteries when needed; and replace your devices every ten years. Remember to make sure alarms are properly placed on each floor, in living areas, working spaces, and bedrooms. The sooner you hear an alarm, the more time you have to escape. Now is the time to protect your family by checking and changing your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. Don't wait. Something so simple can save a life, including your own.
