Electronic Procurement: Beginning November 1, 2020, Jefferson Parish will no longer accept manual bid submissions, Request for Proposal (RFP) submissions and Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). These submissions will only be accepted electronically via the Parish’s e-Procurement system, Central Bidding. Central Bidding can be accessed by visiting either www.centralauctionhouse.com or www.jeffparishbids.net.  All vendors will be required to register with Central Bidding. Jefferson Parish vendors are able to register for free by accessing the following link: www.centralauctionhouse.com/registration


Jefferson Parish Government buildings are open to the public. All visitors will be required to wear a mask or face covering and undergo a temperature screening prior to entry.

Bid Openings:
All bids will be publicly opened at the West Bank location and via teleconference at 2:30 p.m., by calling the following number:

Bids will be accepted through Central Bidding. Bids over $30,000 will be received until 2:00 p.m. The bid opening teleconference will begin at 2:30 p.m. on each bid opening date.

Through the competitive bidding and RFP (Request for Proposals) processes, the Purchasing Department provides centralized services for purchases of equipment, material, supplies, public works and non-professional services Professional Services are procured via SOQs (Statements of Qualifications). Vendors seeking to do business with the Parish by providing professional services should contact the Purchasing Department at 504-364-2682.

The mission of the Purchasing Department is to provide central procurement services for all Parish departments’ requests for services, equipment, supplies, and public works projects. Our goal is to procure quality products using cost effective and transparent methods and to ensure compliance with Jefferson Parish’s codified Uniform Purchasing Procedures and Louisiana Public Bid Law. Our mission is to continue to serve Parish citizens, vendors and employees with excellent customer service while fostering open and fair competition.
