EAST BANK REGIONAL LIBRARY HOSTS
EIGHT BANDS AS PART OF HOLIDAY PROGRAMMING

JEFFERSON, LAThe East Bank Regional Library, 4747 W. Napoleon, will host eight musical concerts as part of its holiday programming. Each concert is free of charge and is open to the public.

7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022
Trombone Choir of New Orleans Concert Band
The Trombone Choir of the New Orleans Concert Band - a group consisting of a dozen trombones - performs traditional and contemporary music.

7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022
Jerusalem Shrine Jazz Orchestra
This big band performs a wide variety of music.

7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022
The Piatigorsky Concert
Internationally renowned performers Evan Drachman, cellist, and Richard Dowling, pianist.

7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2019
American Legion Post 377 Band
The band performs standards as well as holiday music.

7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 15, 2019
New Aurora Saxophone Ensemble
This small group, consisting only of saxophones, performs a variety of tunes.

7 p.m., Monday, Dec. 19, 2022
Mike Scorsone Presents
Musician and teacher Michael Scorsone presents a night of music from young performers.

Memory Lane
Jean, Richard and Sam perform holiday music and popular tunes.

The Jefferson Parish Community Band
The Jefferson Parish Community Band, roughly 50 musicians, returns with a full program of music for every age.

The Jefferson Parish Library system consists of 16 locations that stretch from the Lakeshore Branch on the edge of Lake Pontchartrain to the Grand Isle Branch just steps away from the Gulf of Mexico. The library system consists of two large regional libraries and seven branches on each side of the Mississippi River. The East Bank Regional Library (4747 W.
