ELECTION DAY TO TAKE PLACE ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2023

JEFFERSON, LA – As Louisiana and Jefferson Parish prepare for Election Day on Saturday, October 14, 2023, the Jefferson Parish Registrar of Voters Office is urging citizens to exercise their right to vote and actively participate in the election process.

With state and parish-wide offices and referendums on the ballot, everyone will have something to vote for in this election.

“This year’s election is of paramount importance, with candidates vying for various State and Jefferson Parish offices,” said Jefferson Parish Registrar of Voters Dennis A. DiMarco. “The outcomes of these elections will have a profound impact on the future of Louisiana and Jefferson Parish. On Election Day, make your voice heard and participate. Your vote is your voice, and it is a vital tool for creating a better future for our state and parish.”

Election Day poll sites will be open from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., providing ample opportunity for citizens to cast their votes.

To ensure a smooth voting experience, all citizens are encouraged to see exactly what will be on their ballot by utilizing the Louisiana Secretary of State’s digital resources. Polling locations, sample ballots, and much more are available through the GeauxVote mobile app (available on iOS and Android devices), the Voter Portal on your mobile device or at the www.GeauxVote.com.
