JEFFERSON PARISH OFFICES CLOSED ON FRIDAY,
NOVEMBER 10, 2023 IN OBSERVANCE OF VETERANS DAY HOLIDAY

Garbage collection and curbside recycling to take place as scheduled

JEFFERSON, LA – All Jefferson Parish Government offices, including all Jefferson Parish libraries, Jefferson Parish Protection & Animal Welfare Services (JPAWS) and the East and West Jefferson American Job Centers, will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023, in observance of the Veterans Day holiday.

GARBAGE AND RECYCLING
Garbage collection and curbside recycling will take place as scheduled. The Jefferson Parish Landfill will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023 and will resume normal operations on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023. JPRD
All Jefferson Parish Parks & Recreation (JPRD) classes and programs (not including Lafreniere Park and Parc des Familles) will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10 and will resume operations on Saturday, Nov. 11. TRANSIT
Jefferson Parish Transit will be running a normal weekday service on Friday, Nov. 10. To check service by route, visit the maps and schedules section of the Jefferson Parish Transit website.

REGISTRAR OF VOTERS
Early voting will not take place on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023. Early voting will resume on Saturday, Nov.11, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Visit the Jefferson Parish Registrar of Voters Office for more information.
