All Jefferson Parish residents are encouraged to prepare now to protect their family, friends and property in the event of a major storm or hurricane this year. For Jefferson Parish's hurricane dashboard, which includes information and resources on how to prepare now, stay safe during, and recover after a storm, visit www.JeffParish.net/JPAware

In order to better prepare to assist medically vulnerable residents, Jefferson Parish has launched an updated Medical Needs Registry. The best way to sign up is online at www.JeffParish.net/JPAware, or by calling 504-323-1818 and leaving a message. This is not a guarantee of service, and the best way to evacuate is with friends and family members. Individuals that are bedridden, have multiple medical devices such as suction machines, ventilators, feeding tubes or oxygen concentrator, or can’t get to a bus stop due to mobility limitations should register.
