LANE CLOSURE
AMES BOULEVARD FROM LAPALCO BOULEVARD TO THE WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting today (Monday, August 14, 2023), the right lane of southbound Ames Boulevard from Lapalco Boulevard to the Westbank Expressway will be closed daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists will merge to the available lane.

This closure is necessary to install new light poles and fixtures on the west side of Ames Boulevard at a cost of $660,000. Work is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 5 p.m., weather permitting.
