LANE CLOSURES:
WEST METAIRIE AVENUE AND AIRLINE PARK BOULEVARD

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting Monday, September 25, 2023, there will be intermittent and alternating lane closures of eastbound West Metairie Avenue and northbound and southbound Airline Park Boulevard daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. When one lane is closed on Airline Park Boulevard, motorists should detour to the nearest U-turn. Motorists traveling on West Metairie Avenue will always have one lane available for use. 

This closure is necessary for the installation of handicap ramps at two corners and in the median at a cost of $20,260. Work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, October 6, 2023 at 5 p.m., weather permitting.
