LOWE’S DONATES SUPPLIES TO ASSIST FIRST RESPONDERS DURING COVID-19

Donation Includes 120,000 Pairs of Gloves, 15,000 N-95 Masks, 700 Buckets of Cleaning Supplies & More

JEFFERSON, LA – In response to COVID-19 and its impact on the Jefferson Parish community, Lowe’s has donated supplies to assist Jefferson Parish first responders in their efforts while on the front line of this pandemic.

“The most important thing for us to do right now is help one another in any way possible. This generous donation from Lowe’s exemplifies that importance,” said Jefferson Parish President Cynthia Lee Sheng. “I want to thank Lowe’s and their team for being so gracious in giving a helping hand. We are all in this together, we will get through this together."

The following is a list of items that Lowe’s has donated to Jefferson Parish:

• Approximately 15,000 N-95 masks
• 120,000 pairs of gloves
• 700 buckets of cleaning supplies
• A shipment of paper products
• 1/2 truck load of Clorox Bleach
• Two pallets of bottled water

“Times like this should bring out the best in people and also bring out the best in companies,” said Emanuel J. Fitch, district manager of Lowe’s. “One of our core values is connecting with the community we serve. At Lowe’s we understand it’s our duty to take care of the communities that take care of us."

In addition to Lowe’s donation to Jefferson Parish, the company has also donated supplies to Orleans Parish and hospitals throughout the area.
