Road Closures

LANE CLOSURE: MISSISSIPPI AVENUE

The northbound lane of Mississippi Ave., between 27th St. and Fulton St., will be closed until 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, weather permitting.

LANE CLOSURE: MANHATTAN BOULEVARD

The right southbound lane at 1342 Manhattan Blvd., will be closed until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2022, weather permitting.

LANE CLOSURE: WEST ESPLANADE AVENUE

Starting on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, one eastbound lane of W. Esplanade Ave. between Transcontinental Dr. and Causeway Blvd. will be closed from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.

LANE CLOSURE: TERRY PARKWAY

Starting on Monday, May 16, 2022, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., certain locations of Terry Pkwy. will be closed, one lane at a time.

Starting at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022, both lanes of Craig Ave. between Asher St. and Kawanee Ave. will be closed on a continuous basis. Motorists will detour using Asher St. to Elmwood Pkwy. back to Kawanee Ave.

LANE CLOSURE: FRISCO AVENUE

Starting on Monday, May 16, 2022, both lanes of Frisco Ave., between Aris Ave. and Metairie Rd. will be closed on a continuous basis.

ROAD CLOSURE: LAPALCO BRIDGE OVER HARVEY CANAL

Starting on Monday, May 9, 2022, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., one eastbound lane at a time and one westbound lane at a time of Lapalco Blvd. Bridge over the Harvey Canal will be closed.

LANE CLOSURE: WEST ESPLANADE AVENUE

One eastbound lane (closest to the canal) of West Esplanade Ave. between Metairie Heights Ave. and Clifford Dr. will be closed.

LANE CLOSURE: LAPALCO BOULEVARD

One eastbound left lane and a U-turn on Lapalco Boulevard over the Cousins Canal will remain closed as crews work to repair a culvert under the roadway.

LANE CLOSURE: WEST ESPLANADE AVENUE

One westbound lane (closest to the canal) of West Esplanade Ave. between Metairie Heights Ave. and Clifford Dr. will be closed.
