Home Owner Rehabilitation Program

The 2024 Rehabilitation Application process has reached capacity. Thank you for your interest.

I've Applied, Now What?

Congratulations on successfully submitting your application for the 2024 Homeowner Rehabilitation Program! We anticipate a large number of applications, so it may take us some time to review them all. We must go in the order that we received the application, so some applicants will be contacted sooner than others. It is possible that we will not have enough funding to assist every applicant. If you are not chosen during the 2024 application process, you will need to try again in 2025. There is NO waiting list.

Please do not contact us to inquire about the online application.  We will contact you as soon as we reach your application in the order it was received.  If we are unable to assist you, we WILL notify you via mail or email.

What's Next?

  • Successful applicants will be contacted for additional information to complete the application process.
  • Our staff will review your completed application and you will be notified of approval or denial.
  • An inspection of your home will be conducted to create a scope of work to be completed.
  • The site will be put out to bid. During this time, we will require you to open your home for bidders to inspect the site.  A JPDCD representative will be on site with you during all open houses.
  • Once a contractor is chosen, all parties will participate in a contract signing.
  • Rehabilitation work will begin shortly after the contract sighing and should be completed within (3) three months of the start date.
  • Once complete, all parties will participate in a contract closing. This will begin the 1 year warranty period.
